These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AgLynks web application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Use of AgLynks
AgLynks helps agricultural employers, workers, and contractors connect for job opportunities. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Account responsibility
- You are responsible for providing accurate information about yourself and your business.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Employer and worker responsibilities
- Employers are responsible for the accuracy of job posts, working conditions, wages, and their obligations as an employer under applicable law.
- Workers are responsible for the accuracy of profile information, skills, availability, and their ability to perform the work applied for.
- Both parties are expected to communicate honestly and respectfully through the Service.
Job posts, applications, and invitations
AgLynks provides tools to publish jobs, submit applications, send invitations, and exchange messages. AgLynks does not screen, endorse, or verify job posts, workers, or employers beyond the account-level checks described in the Privacy Policy.
No guarantee of work or hiring
AgLynks does not guarantee that any employer will hire any worker or that any worker will accept any job. Decisions to hire, work, pay, or continue an engagement are made solely between the employer and the worker.
Notifications
AgLynks may send you transactional notifications in-app, by email, and (when you opt in) by SMS. You can adjust your notification preferences from your account settings.
SMS terms
By enabling SMS notifications, you agree to receive transactional text messages from AgLynks related to your account, job activity, applications, invitations, availability, reminders, and other service-related updates. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help where supported.
- SMS consent is optional.
- You can use the main AgLynks service without consenting to SMS, except for features that specifically require phone verification.
- You may disable SMS notification preferences at any time in your account settings.
- AgLynks does not send marketing SMS in the current implementation.
Prohibited conduct
- Do not misrepresent your identity, business, or qualifications.
- Do not post false, misleading, unlawful, or discriminatory content.
- Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, or defraud others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Termination
AgLynks may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AgLynks does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgLynks and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost wages, or missed opportunities.
Changes to these Terms
AgLynks may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
